12th Planet

John started over from scratch. After seven years touring the world as drum-n-bass maestro Infiltrata, after winning over icons such as Goldie and Photek, John Dadzie gave himself a new name, a new sound, and a new determination. It was 2005 and the gentile beatmaker was inspired by sounds he heard spun by the likes Technical Itch, Skream and Benga. It was dubstep. And it was his calling. Once 12th Planet is born, the story really begins. The British dubstep movement takes hold in LA thanks to 12th Planet and the events he aligns himself with; Smog, Media Contender, HARD, and his own club night Dubtroit. Like the mythological twelfth planet (popularized by controversial author Zecharia Sitchin), our 12th Planet flies perpendicular to the system. His wicked beats are off axis. His subsonic frequencies surround you in their own orbit. America's first king of dubstep is ready for impact.

  • Website: Bassbintwins.com
  • Residence: San Fransisco

Bassbin Twins were born in Los Angeles, moved to Belgium, and are now based in San Francisco. Started in 1992 simply because of a "love for the beats", they've recorded for Skint, Belgian Breaks, Southern Fried, and others, as well as their own numerous one off indpendent releases.

A live Bassbin Twins show is a remix of all their favorite music. Their innovative tunes range from breaks to house to drum 'n bass. Anything and everything can get woven into the mix. Eclectic in nature, the connection lies in the unique rub they put on each track.

The future for BBT holds more live shows, new fiercely independent record releases, and more film making projects.

Kill the Noise

From Los Angeles, California, Jake Stanczak better known as Kill The Noise has exploded into the Electro House scene, since he launched the project in January of ‘08. His productions have earned him recognition from both house music fanatics and world class DJ’s alike. Success in the studio has created many interesting opportunities for the young producer. Most notably a busy worldwide touring schedule, a record label partnership with the infamous DJ Craze, and most recently an invitation to perform on Tiesto’s Kaleidoscope World Tour in North America.

It seems that whatever sector of electronic music Kill The Noise draws influence from, it is executed with the same level of quality and production mastery that has become expected from him. His sound has resonated around the world and has been embraced by both veterans and newer generations of artists and enthusiasts.
You can sense from the productions that there is a mission to learn and explore what can be done with sound, and how to push the envelope in electronic music, making this an even more exciting project to watch unfold.

This year is already shaping up to be huge for Kill The Noise with a truckload of new material in the pipelines including a debut album in the works.
